New Post: Odd Tools Menu Interaction With GIT Add-In (VS2010)

I have the same issue. VS 2010, BVI 2.5.11219.2200, Git Extensions 2.44

Here is a screenshot - you can see the top two lines are for BVI, while the remaining lines are for Git Extensions. All commands seem to work ok...
